Our Story

In the summer of 1984, Kevin and Kimberly met at the age of 16 and 18 fell in love and by the ages of 20 and 22 were married with two children living in Montana looking for better business opportunities they relocated to Sandpoint Idaho.

In 1994 Kevin along with his brother Curtis Grimm opened a  mechanic/auto body shop called Grimm Bros in Sagle Idaho where the business is still located today. In 2003 Kevin looked for new adventures and found the mobile home transportation industry and in the coming weeks was CDL certified and Kimberly got her CDL as well as her pilot car license. They loved working on the road but found the constant loop of the same roads had them wanting to see more of our beautiful country.

In 2005 Kevin and Kimberly left the mobile home transport business and started the venture of long hauling. The freedom of seeing the country and getting paid for it sounded too good to be true... And it was they found almost all carriers leasing owner-operators had taken the good away with high percentages, forced dispatch, and no FREEDOM! At this point, they decided to work for themselves starting VICE VERSA LLC in May of 2005 with just one truck and trailer they jumped through all the business hurdles and soon realized that an office was needed, and that would mean they had to get bigger than just one truck.

Once again Curtis joined the business along with their daughter Karmae, together they found a way to make the "Truckers Dream" possible.

Over the years developing a plan to make it simple and more profitable for additional owner-operators to have the ability to work for themselves and without the "restrictions and headaches"

As of 2020 Kevin and Kimberly are still owner-operators for Vice Versa using the original truck purchased in 2005. Curtis now has 3 trucks operating for Vice Versa.
